Traditional Archery & Horseback Archery
Horseback archery is one of humanity’s oldest martial arts — a discipline where horse and rider move as one while every shot is made at full speed.
The Mongolian Draw
At Warlander, we practice traditional thumb draw (also known as the Mongolian draw), a historic archery technique that has been used for centuries across Asia and the Middle East. It remains a rare discipline in Belgrade, offering a unique opportunity to learn an authentic style of mounted archery.
Our training combines athletic development, historical tradition, and modern coaching methods. While rooted in history, the sport is open to everyone, regardless of previous experience.
From The Ground Up
Your journey begins on the ground. Students first develop safe and consistent archery technique before combining it with horseback riding skills. Once you’re confident in both disciplines, you’ll progress to shooting from horseback — one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences equestrian sport has to offer.
We provide all the necessary equipment, so all you need to bring is curiosity and the willingness to learn.
